What it does

The Slack integration lets Bigdelta send messages to your Slack channels. Use it in moments to notify your team about important customer events — like churn risk alerts, new signups, or expansion opportunities.

How to connect

1

Go to Settings then Integrations

Find the Slack card in the communication section.
2

Click Connect

A popup window opens to authorize Bigdelta in your Slack workspace.
3

Authorize in Slack

Select the Slack workspace you want to connect and approve the requested permissions.
4

Connection complete

Once authorized, the integration shows a Connected status. You can now use Slack actions in your moments.
Make sure you have permission to install apps in your Slack workspace. You may need to ask a Slack admin for approval.

Configuring a Slack message

When adding a Slack message step in a moment:
  1. Select a channel — Choose which Slack channel receives the message
  2. Write your message — Compose the message content using plain text and personalization variables
  3. Add variables — Insert dynamic account properties like name, MRR, plan, or any custom property

Personalization variables

Variables let you include account-specific data in your Slack messages. They use the same system as email personalization. For example, you can include the account name, current MRR, subscription plan, or any account property you track in Bigdelta.

Notifications

Slack notifications are recorded in Bigdelta so you can see a history of all messages sent through the integration.
