What are Entitlements?

Entitlements represent the features and usage limits included in each customer’s plan. They define what an account is allowed to use and how much of it they can consume. By tracking entitlement usage in Bigdelta, you can see which accounts are approaching their limits, which are underusing their plan, and where upsell opportunities exist.

Entitlement types

Bigdelta supports three entitlement types, each suited to a different kind of plan feature:
TypeUse caseExample
ToggleFeature on/off with no counting”Advanced Analytics” enabled or disabled
QuotaCapped usage that does not reset”5 exports total”
MeteredUsage that resets per billing cycle”1,000 API calls per month”

Where entitlement usage appears

Entitlement usage activities showing toggle activation, metered usage, and quota threshold alerts
Entitlement usage data is visible in:
  1. Entitlements list — View all entitlements with usage status across accounts
  2. Account profiles — See per-account entitlement usage on the account’s profile
You can filter accounts by entitlement usage status to quickly find accounts approaching limits or underusing their plan.
